Call Me Battle: December
Here we go again!
We bid a fond farewell to The Partridge Family last month as Tommy Tutone took over the reign.
This month has us moving into Phase 2 of the Call Me Battles. Phase 1 was strictly songs that mentioned a phone number, and Phase 2 is a bit more open with songs that mention calling, telephones, etc.
Are you getting tired of the theme? Don’t worry, McCarthy and I are brewing up some fun that will hopefully spice things up - stay tuned. More info to come soon!
Okay.. let’s get this month’s battle going! I’m excited about this one, as I really like both tunes. Both are great picks for the theme. But you must pick one.

As far as I'm concerned Blondie takes this one. Both are good songs, but I just think Blondie's better.

Gah! I'm gonna have to flip a coin on this. Excellent matchup, Mary ;-) My guess is that Tommy holds his own a little longer. As for me, now that I retrieved the nickel from under my desk, I'm voting for Tommy. For the memories.

Blondie... the original Britney Spears. Hey, one can dress it up a bit, but these ears of mine still know Disco when I hear it (and, yes, "Disco sucks"... still.)
I am casting a "very vociferous vote" for TOMMY TUTONE. (You owe me $3.00 for the alliteration.)
Judge Al Bondigas is also casting a vote for TOMMY TUTONE.
I asked him why he was voting for Tommy and he said, "Because."
