Daylight Savings Time
Daylight Savings Time
What a pain in the you know where!
I was trying to come up with something for today’s Monday’s Music Moves Me as it’s free choice today. Even though I have an extra hour in my day, it appears that I am holding out until the last minute to get this post and video/playlist done. It’s probably because it’s cold and miserable outside and I just wanted to lay in bed all day.
Time to be productive!
For today’s playlist, I thought I would use songs that give a measure of time - minutes, hours, etc.
In the Midnight Hour - Wilson Pickett
Minute by Minute - Doobie Brothers
24 Hours at a Time - Marshall Tucker Band
Lovin’ Every Minute of It - Loverboy
Daylight Saving - Seal
25 Minutes to Go - Johnny Cash
In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning - Frank Sinatra
The Working Hour - Tears for Fears
Wee Wee Hours - Chuck Berry
Seconds - U2
What did you do with your extra hour?
Be sure to check back tomorrow (Dec 1) for a fun Battle of the Bands! (Seriously, you don’t want to miss out!)
Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop. If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.
Very clever theme, and great song choices.
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever theme and playlist. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteLove listening to these songs
ReplyDeleteI love how you did your playlist via your video. You've very talented.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous MMMM and week. ♥
Mary,
ReplyDeleteYou're so creative. Excellent playlist and theme! What this, we had an extra hour? All I focused on is that it got darker earlier. I don't like that, either. At least there's music to make the transition easier so maybe I won't be a grumpy Cathy. :) Thanks for hitting the 4M dance floor, darlin'! Have a boogietastic week!
Timely (no pun intended) theme for today. Glad I'm not the only one who detests the twice a year time changes! A lot of artists I knew and a lot of songs I didn't know. My favorites of the songs I didn't know were the ones from Chuck Berry and Tears for Fears.
ReplyDeleteGreat set, Mary!
