Better Breakfast

Welcome back to Monday’s Music Moves Me!

John from Sound of One Hand Typing reminds us that September is Better Breakfast Month. He has asked that we use the spelling of BREAKFAST to create playlists for today.

Whether you are a fan of the Full English Breakfast, Full Irish Breakfast, Full Scottish Breakfast, or simply a Continental Breakfast there is something for everyone here to enjoy.

Breakfast in America - Supertramp
Renegade - Styx
Evil Ways - Santana
American Woman - The Guess Who
Knock Three Times - Tony Orlando and Dawn
Fooled Around and Fell In Love - Elvin Bishop
Angie Baby - Helen Reddy
Some Kind Of Wonderful - Grand Funk Railroad
That’s The Way (I Like It) - KC & The Sunshine Band

What songs would you use to spell Breakfast?

Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop.  If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.

  1. Nicely done! A lot of not-heared-recently tunes (at least for me).

  2. Very nice. You certainly put a lot of work into this, especially your "breakfast" intro. Several songs I haven't heard in a long time and forgot all about, especially "Angie Baby".

  3. Nice playlist for breakfast. I don't eat big breakfasts like I used to, but breakfast is still a must-have meal for me in order to get my day started.

  4. Mary,

I'm definitely an almost full American breakfast lover. I say almost because I can't fathom eating beans for breakfast. I did see beans on the menu a lot while in Maine. I had no idea that beans is a traditional morning dish, though. I love your video featuring background music with how you spell breakfast in song. That took a lot of time, I bet. Great job!
