#RMF2019: Pink Floyd
Day 4 of #RocktoberMusicFest2019
Today’s band is a bit more ‘mellow’ than yesterday’s band.
Wikipedia tells us this about Pink Floyd:
Pink Floyd were an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They emerged from London's underground music scene during the late 1960s, and became one of the most commercially successful and influential groups in popular music history. Gaining a following as a psychedelic band, they were distinguished for their extended compositions, sonic experimentation, philosophical lyrics and elaborate live shows, and became a leading band of the progressive rock genre.
I did manage to see Roger Waters in concert in 1999/2000. That was a fantastic show!
I’ve put together a set list of his music for you to enjoy!
- Another Brick In The Wall
- Comfortably Numb
- Wish You Were Here
- Time
- Money
- Us and Them
- One of These Days
- High Hopes
- Marooned
- Hey You
