Take A Break Wednesday!

How about another mid-week break? I had something else planned for today, but thought this would be more fun :)

There’s a trend all over Facebook lately. You may have heard of the Tide Pod Challenge, where the youth are biting into Tide Pods. I say, let the natural selection of humans begin. If you’re that dumb to participate in something like that (or even the condom snorting one) I don’t necessarily wish to share the same air as you.
 

But… there’s another challenge taking place. And at first I thought I wasn’t going to be able to share any with you because Facebook is being stubborn, and embedded videos can only be viewed on Facebook.

Thankfully, some of the challenge participants have uploaded to YouTube as well.  YAY!  Now I can show you what I’ve been mindlessly watching this past week or so…

This is called the #lipsyncchallenge  or #lipsyncbattle  And it’s a challenge between various first responders, primarily police.

From what I understand, the challenge originated in Texas. You know the heat must be getting to them when they come up with something like this.  While a good share of the challenge participants leave you thinking that you’ve just spent 3 minutes of your life that you will never get back, some are actually pretty creative.
