Cello Metal Band - Apocalyptica

Say what?!?

Yes, you read that correctly. Cello Metal Band. Just try to wrap your head around that concept :)

Apocalyptica is a Finnish cello metal band from Helsinki, Finland formed in 1993. The band is composed of classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso and drummer Mikko Sirén. Originally a Metallica classical tribute band, the band eventually adopted a neoclassical metal style without the use of conventional guitars. They have sold over four million albums to date.

Fun Fact: Apocalyptica also was the band who had made the music for Rovio Entertainment ( Creators of Angry Birds ) for one of the Angry Birds Seasons episode - On Finn Ice .
