New Month, New Ideas
Welcome to February!
I wanted to do something a little different for this month. You see, just before Christmas, I had major surgery to remove a cancerous mass. Organs were removed from my body. (see my post My Doctor Is A Rock Star) While I've continued to blog away each day (because I really didnt want to let you, the reader, down), I have also been healing from the surgery. The good doc tells me that he is confident that they were able to remove all of the cancer, but even just over a month post surgery, I am very tired. My sleep pattern is completely messed up and it takes awhile to find a comfortable position to sleep. So there's that.
I pushed myself hard to complete the 31 day Ultimate Blog Challenge for January, but some minor changes need to be made here though until I am able to get my full strength back. Don't worry. I still plan to have something for you every day. I'll just be making a minor adjustment to my regular format.
I love a good cover. I think it's a form of flattery when one artist takes another artist's song and puts their spin on it.
Today, I'm sharing "All About That Bass"
The original was written and performed by Meghan Trainor. She's a fascinating person who has accomplished quite a bit in her very young age. Watch for an upcoming post in the future for more about her.
In the meantime, here is her video:

For Christmas, I shared with you an a-cappella group, Home Free. I really enjoy them. (see that post here) It turns out they have done a cover of Meghan Trainor's song.

Okay... enough with the DRAMA! Let's have some fun!

I love comments! Did you know that comments that are less than 8 words long are considered spam? So, don't hold back! Spill yer guts. Let me know you stopped by and let me know what you liked about the post, or what you didn't like. If you are a blogger, be sure to include a link to your blog, so that I can easily reciprocate.
